LATHAM - Richard D. Golden, 61, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Barnwell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Richard was born on October 20, 1960 in Niskayuna and was the son of the late William H. and Delores M. (Long) Golden. He graduated from Shaker High School - Class of 1978. He was a machine operator for GE for many years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, reading, and helping his siblings with home projects.
Richard is survived by his brothers, William, Michael (Anisa), Scott (Cindy), Timothy (Diane), Daniel, and David (Darlene); his sisters, Susan (Jim) Moryl, his twin, Robin (Jim) Brown and Beth (Steve) Roy, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Alan; and sisters-in-law, Nancy and Alice.
