COLONIE – Richard J. McMahon, 79, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on Thursday December 4, 2008 at Ellis Hospital McClellan Campus.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Thomas and Anna Schuyler McMahon and brother of the late Thomas McMahon.
Dick was a printer for many years at the former Williams Press and then with Seneca Paper before retiring a number of years ago.
He is the beloved husband of 48 years to Ruth Gifford McMahon. He is the devoted father of Joyce McMahon and Jill McMahon.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
