SCOTIA-RICHARD JOHN SUPLICKI, 73, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
Richard was born on January 1, 1943 in Norwich, Connecticut, to the late Walter and Frances Suplicki. Richard was married to the late Gail E. (King) Suplicki on November 9, 1968. They were married for over 30 years. He was employed as a facilities manager for many different industries around the capital district. Richard was an athlete in his youth, and he will be remembered for his love of socializing, and his honorable service in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Germany from 1961-1965. Richard was a resident at Atria Shaker in Albany, NY for approximately 10 years. He was an ambassador for new residents and will be missed.
Richard is predeceased by his loving wife, Gail, and his brother, Rodney J. Suplicki.
Richard is survived by his children; Deanna (Mitchell) Goldstein, and Allison (Thomas) Dixon, his grandchildren; Melissa, Bryant, Simon, Joshua, Ella, and Lucas.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Burial will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871, on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 9:30am.
