Albany- Richard K. Rudolph, Jr., 67, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2006, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Albany he is the son of Elsie Rudolph and the late Richard K. Rudoplh, Sr. Dick was an avid carpenter who enjoyed making furniture. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time and playing with his grandchildren. He was a 4th degree member of the Delmar Knights of Columbus and a former instructor for the NYS Hunters Safety. Richard had served in the NYS National Guard.
Richard is survived by his wife of 10 years Jo-Anne Rudolph of Albany, 2 children, Richard K. Rudolph, III of Scotia, Cheryl Rudolph (Dave Vogel) of Rensselaerville and three step children, Patrick Walsh of Albany, Michelle O'Hare (Thomas) of Colonie and Mary Mariani (John) of Colonie. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Summer, Skyler, Ryan, Casey, Jenna, Shannon, Johnny, Nikki, Amber and Dominique, his 3 brothers, Charles Rudolph (Ethel), Michael Rudolph (Patricia) and Thomas Rudolph (Christine) and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 6:00 PM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie(Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. The family has requested that no flowers be sent.
