Schenectady- Richard J. Kolner, 51, died on Monday, March 14, 2005 at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Manhattan. Born in Schenectady he is the son of John and the late Wanda Kolner. Richard was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and gardening. He is predeceased by his brother Hubert Kolner.
Richard is survived by his Fiancée Barbara Bartholomew, his step-daughter Rose Guynup, and his step-grandson "Buddies Forever" Anthony Rodriguez. He is also survived by his sisters; Helen Kolner, and Annette Seiler and her husband Joe, his brother George Kolner and his wife Sonya, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17th at 7:00 PM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
