SCHENECTADY – Richard L. Eychner, 75, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness.
Richard was born on July 6, 1935 in Boonville, NY. He worked as a maintenance worker for Mohawk Mall for several years before retiring. He enjoyed repairing TV's, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his longtime companion, Frances Knight; his children, Michelle Wible, Rhonda Knight, Jason Knight and Kristy Wood; and his grandchildren, Christopher Wible and Alexis Knight.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 5 to 7 p.m.
