Richard B. Langdon

Albany, NY - Richard B. Langdon, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his home, with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late George and Estelle Langdon. Richard was the devoted husband to Deborah A. Langdon. They were married 55 years.
Richard worked as a machinist for General Electric. He was a strong believer in union rights and was a dedicated administrator in the employee assistance program at IUE Local 301, until his retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Richard Langdon, and his wife Amy, of Hatfield, MA; and Mark Langdon, and his wife Stacey, of Albany, NY; along with three beloved grandchildren, Domina, Tara, and Ella. Richard was also the brother to Lawrence Langdon, Chris Tice, Laurie Langdon, and the late Ronald Langdon.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205 on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Richard's name to Make-A-Wish® America, 1702 East Highland Ave. Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
