Richard "Richie" Lezette, 55, of Albany, New York, passed away on January 21, 2024.
Richie was born on June 25, 1968, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a beloved husband to Christine Lezette (Kenner) and a devoted stepfather to Jisela Vasquez, Natalie Kenner, and Christopher Kenner. Son of his late father Emery "Tom" Lezette, Richie also has a close bond with his mother, Connie Lezette, and cherished his siblings, Nancy Morigerato (Lou), Chuck Lezette (Tracey Lezette), Michael Lezette, Terry Lezette, and Thomas Lezette. Also survived by his 2 nephews, Michael Lezette and Jesse Ciulla. Additionally, Richie had a best friend, Goldine Bordulis, who held a special place in his heart.
Richie was known for his caring nature and big heart. He always wore his heart on his sleeve and dedicated himself to serving others. With his joking disposition, Richie had a remarkable ability to make a room full of people laugh. Despite the challenges he faced, Richie maintained a positive and strong outlook on his health. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
In 1992, Richie graduated from Hudson Valley Community College. He then pursued a career as a Glazier at Amazing Glass on Livingston Ave in Albany, NY, where he worked until 2023.
Outside of work, Richie had a passion for art. He was a talented tattoo artist and enjoyed painting in his free time. Richie also found solace and support as a member of Narcotics Anonymous, where he formed many close friendships.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 30th from 4:00-6:30pm with a service to follow at 6:30pm at New Comer 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205.
