Richard Ostrander, 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Born in Albany, New York, Richard is predeceased by his loving parents and cherished 11 siblings.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Cathy. They have been married for 55 years. He is also survived by his caring daughter Lisa Ostrander who remained by his side throughout his illness. Many thanks to Richard's special Brothers and Sisters-in-Law Lucille and John Hilson, Charles and Carolyn Carr, who were his lifelong friends. Richard leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.
Richard's family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Community Hospice for their continued care and compassion. For this reason, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice Foundation, 310 South Manning Blvd, Albany NY 12208.
