Richard G. Philbrick

Richard G. Philbrick, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Ellis Hospital with his loving family by his side. Richard was the son of the late Herbert and Edna Philbrick.
Richard was the devoted husband of over 71 years to Marguerite (Stevens) Philbrick.
Richard was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Master's degree in Management. He was a licensed professional engineer. For 39 years he was employed by the General Electric Co. with manufacturing, engineering and management assignments in Somersworth, NH, Pittsfield, MA and Schenectady before retiring.
He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Schenectady as well as the GE Elfun Society.
Richard is survived by his wife, Marguerite Philbrick, his children, Richard G. (Dorothy) Jr., Lynn (Dennis Perrott) Philbrick Rue, Steven (Wendi) Philbrick. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Deborah, Erin, John and Sarah and two great grandchildren, Samuel and Jacob.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in New Hampshire.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Faith United Methodist Church, 811 N. Brandywine Ave., Schenectady, NY 12308 or to the Schenectady City Mission 425 Hamilton Street, Schenectady, NY 12305 in Richard's memory.
