Colonie - Richard P. Szepek, 48, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Rich was the son of Richard W. Szepek and the late Patricia Szepek, and was the husband of Pina Szepek.
Rich enjoyed watching his son Luke play sports, golfing, fishing, and camp outings with his Lake Champlain crew.
Along with his father, Richard, and wife, Pina, Rich is survived by his siblings, Jennifer L. (Joseph) Ramundo, and Scott W. (Colleen) Szepek, sons, Luke Szepek, and Dylan LaFave, mother and father in law, Bruni and Phil Silvestri, brother in law, Jim, and Angie Brady, along with many other loved family members and friends.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Tuesday, June 12th, 2018, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm with the service to follow at 5:30 pm. Rich's final resting will be privately handled by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Richard Szepek Memorial Fund for Luke Szepek at any CAPCOM FCU location.
