ALBANY, NY – Richard T. Loveday, Sr., 80, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008. Mr. Loveday lived in Albany for most of his life before moving to Orlando, Fl in 1992. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a Prisoner of War during World War II. Richard worked for Conrail for many years before his retirement. He was the beloved husband of the late Maude Loveday. He is the father of Richard T. Loveday, Jr. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Steven and Scott Loveday and Megan, Jessica, Jen and Toni Loveday and his great-grandchild, Addison Loveday.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Saturday morning at 10:00 at Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Mennads, NY 12204 in memory of Richard T. Loveday, Sr.
