Richard Tucker

Richard Tucker, 74, passed away suddenly on August 25,2014. Born in Albany, NY on March 20, 1940 to the late Leon and Fannie Tucker.
Richard graduated from Philip Schuyler School and was drafted into the US Army in 1963, where he served his country. He was the proprietor of Swan Wine & Liquors for many years.

He enjoyed cooking and playing cards (poker) was one of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed spending time with his nephews and nieces (great and great-great). "Uncle Dickey" will be missed by all of them.
He was the loving brother of Joyce(Leslie) McIntosh, one cousin Carol Tucker of Albany, and two special nephews Kevin Jenkins and Rayshon McIntosh of Albany, NY. He was predeceased by his sister Beatrice and his brothers, Russell, Edward, David, and Robert Tucker. He leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours will be held at 10am-11am on Saturday, August 30th, at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd Colonie, NY, with a service at 11am. Burial will be held at 9:30am on Tuesday, September 2nd , at Saratoga National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend in procession to the cemetery please meet at the funeral home at 8am.
