MECHANICVILLE – Richard V. Massoth, 68, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2006 at his home.
Richard was born on November 1, 1938 in Lorsch Germany and was the son of the late Jacob and Martha Bruningraber Massoth. He was also predeceased by his brother John.
Richard played soccer in Germany, at the Albany Athletic Club and the Troy Soccer Club. He was a member of the American Legion Post 91 and the Elks Club, both in Mechanicville. He was a loving father and opa. He will be greatly missed by all.
Richard is survived by his children, Christine Walker and Steven Massoth and his wife, Richette all of Scotia, and Loni Massoth of Mechanicville; his seven grandchildren, Kristopher, Kevin, Zachary, Samantha, Ashley, Alexis and Tyler.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). There will be no calling hours. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com
