Rita Booth

ALBANY – Rita Booth, 56, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, September 06, 2005 at Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Marilyn Beasley. Mrs. Booth was an Albany resident for all of her life. She worked for the Center for the Disabled for 27 years. Mrs. Booth enjoyed cooking and listening to music. She was the beloved wife of the late William Booth. Rita is the cherished sister of Ruth Davis of Albany and the late Willie Beasley, Jr. She is the devoted aunt of Denise Beasley and her son, Jahkiem Jacobs and Ralph Beasley and his daughter, Shatasha Beasley, all of Albany. Also surviving are numerous friends.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155- south of Central Ave). Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
