Rita G. Connors

COLONIE – Rita G. Connors, 80, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday February 24, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Springfield, MA and was the daughter of the late William J. and Anna A. Menard Robillard.
Rita worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Peters Hospital and University Heights Nursing Home for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Connors in 1970.
Rita is the beloved mother of Gail (Tom) Lamparski, William (Leslie) Connors, Patricia Connors and Steven Connors. She is the cherished grandmother of Amanda and Allyson Connors, Michael and Jenna Lamparski. Rita is the sister of William Robillard, Alma Menard and Roland Robillard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday evening from 4 to 6 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 6:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
