COLONIE – Rita M. Sebast, 86, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Nerling.
Rita worked for Killy's Laundry and Dry Cleaning for 30+ years. She was also employed as a custodian at Picotte Realty for 11 years. In her free time, Rita enjoyed gardening.
Rita was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Charles H. Sebast.
She is survived by her children, Charles F. (Darlene) Sebast of Cohoes, James C. (Evelyn) Sebast of Rotterdam, and Kathleen E. Harrell of Scotia; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 pm at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in Rita's name.
