Rita Macfarland

SARATOGA SPRINGS- Rita Fleming MacFarland, 88, died Saturday July 7, 2007 at Saratoga Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Kilbarchan, Scotland on January 25, 1919. Rita was the daughter of the late James and Agnes McCall Fleming. She was predeceased by her son, James MacFarland and her brother Matthew Fleming.
Rita was a member of the Watervliet Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Charles Wesley MacFarland; her niece Barbara Youngman of Cary, NC and her nephew Matthew Fleming of Schenectady.

Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery.
