Rita T. Rizk

COLONIE – Rita T. Rizk, 4 years old, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Boston Children's Hospital. Rita was born on July 16, 2008 in Albany and is the daughter of Fouad and Michella (Boutros) Rizk.

Rita lived 85% of her life in the hospital, loved and cared by the best doctors and nurses. They were and will always be her second family that loves her a lot.

Rita you have showed us happiness, strength and love. Thank you for the best 4 years that you fought for. You will always be mommy's pumpkin pie, daddy's little princess and our love bug. Rest in peace angel, where there is no pain, tubes or needles. Have all the water you want baby girl. We love you.

In addition to her loving parents, Rita is survived by her maternal grandparents, Gerges and Madana Boutros; her paternal grandparents, Mounir and Novaline(deceased) Rizk; her aunts and uncles, Michel, Kathy, David, Bakhos, Jessy, Sarkis, Antoine, Virginia, Andre, Nellie, Victor, Claudia, Georgina, Joe, Isabelle, Hady, and Nagie. She is also surrounded by 17 cousins and many other family, friends and nurses.

The Orthodox Christian Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon Thursday at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1 St. George Place, Albany, NY 12202 (corner of So. Dove St.). Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment Memory Gardens in Colonie.
