RENSSELAER- Cornelius (Neil) H. Rivenburgh Jr, 59, of Rensselaer, passed away on Friday March 17, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Albany and has been a resident of Renseelaer all of his life.
Neil was predeceased by his mother Anne E. Rivenburgh and his life companion, Ellie Kentzel.
He is the son of Cornelius H. Rivenburgh Sr. Brother of Ellen (Ron) Snyder, Ann LaRose, Melody (Rick) Weeks, Sherry (Don) Rose and Joseph Rivenburgh. He is the father of Elizabeth Kaisand, William (Lisa) Rivenburgh, Teresa Eady and Rosemarie Young. Neil is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Casey.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Graveside services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 at New Rural Cemetery, Rensselaer.
