Delmar - Robbie S. Green, 76, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2015 at the Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hudson, NY. She was born January 2, 1939 to the late Leroy Tanksley and Emily Allen of Harlem, Georgia.
She is predeceased by her children Priscilla, Sylvester, Vivian and brothers Samuel Tanksley Sr. and James Tanksley. She is also predeceased by her late husband Willie R. Green.
Robbie is survived by her beloved children, Susan Green of Briarwood, NY; Anthony Green of New York, NY; Rodney Green of Rensselaer, NY; and her brother Marvin Tanksley of Albany NY. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many relatives and friends whose lives she touched.
A viewing will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3 Morton Avenue, Albany, NY on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with service to follow. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Colonie, NY.
