COLONIE-Robert W. Aupperle, Sr., 60, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2017.
Bob was born on August 14, 1957 son of the late Richard P. Aupperle, Sr. and Norma H. (Uhl) Aupperle.
He attended Hudson Valley Community College where he earned his Associates Degree in HVAC. He then began his career at the NYS Office of General Services, Empire State Plaza where her retired as a Plant Utility Engineer after 38 years of service.
Bob enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, boating and spending time with his family at his camp in Pottersville, NY. He loved dogs and leaves behind his 2 pups, Bailey and Archie. He also enjoyed working on house remodeling projects with his sons.
Bob is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sharon; his sons, Robert W. Aupperle, Jr., Joseph C. Aupperle, Michael P. Aupperle; brothers, Richard P. Aupperle, Jr. (Bonnie), Kenneth J. Aupperle (Sandy); brother-in-law, James Boening (Mary) and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-7:00pm prior to services. Interment will be at Memory Garden's Cemetery on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00am.
