Duanesburg—Robert B. Pneuman, 83, passed away on Thursday , March 5, 2015 in Ellis Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born June 19th, 1931 in Great Bend, Pennsylvania.
Bob was an army veteran that served in Germany. He was an Old World Craftsman who completed many house construction projects including his own, his son's, and his granddaughter's homes on his Duanesburg mountain property. He loved working in the woods with his chainsaw and Kubota tractor.
Predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Helen Pneuman
Bob is survived by his son, Jim (Cathy), Granddaughter Jen Howe (Tom), Great Grandchildren Tyler and Mallorie Howe. Sister, Ann (Len) Taylor, Brother, Rex Pneuman. Many loving nieces and nephews.
Bob was also survived by his Florida and Maine companion Jean McKenna.
There will be no formal services at Bob's request. In honor of his memory you may make a memorial contribution in his name to the Duanesburg Vol Fire Company or the Duanesburg Vol Ambulance Service.
