Robert K. Beaulac, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Schenectady to the late William and Rose Beaulac. Robert proudly served with the United States Army and worked several years for Wendell Cadillac and then with DeNooyer Chevrolet in Albany. Robert was an avid Yankee and Giants fan, he loved to travel with Betty, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his two brothers, William and Gene Beaulac.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of over 56 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Beaulac; his beloved children, Mark (Mary Pat), Pam (Peter) Ahl and her twin brother Steve (Shelley) Beaulac; his cherished grandchildren, Ashley (John), Nicole (Peter), Peter (Joy), Jaclyn (Bryan), Claire and Sam. He is also survived by many other family members.
The family would like to thank the entire Oncology and hospice staff at St. Peters and to the Colonie EMS for all of the care and compassion given to Robert.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie then to Christ our Light where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the Mass at Memory Gardens, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany NY 12205 in Robert's memory.
