COLONIE - Robert "Bob" G. Adriance, 85, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born on April 9, 1937 in Albany and was the son of the late Raymond and Helen (Hoose) Adriance. He was a welder and fabricator for Body King in Latham for many years before retiring. He enjoyed camping, walking in the woods and tinkering on anything mechanical - "jack of all trades". He loved to work with his hands and he built his own house in West Sand Lake.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Bonnie M. Adriance; his loving children, Laurie (Sal) Prividera, Thomas (Linda) Adriance and Lisa Adriance; his cherished grandchildren, Jason (Whitney) Zink, Alyssa (Anthony) Gifford, Zachary Adriance, Dominic (Alyson) Prividera; his adored great granddaughter, Isabella Zink; his sister, Kathy (Tom) Pemrick and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob is predeceased by his brothers, Lawrence and Ralph Adriance.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12 p.m. Interment will be held at Onesquethaw Union Cemetery.
