SCHENECTADY - Robert Michael Brunet, 68 passed away on October 17, 2021 with his loving wife Anne Brunet and children by his side after a long illness.
Robert is predeceased by his loving parents Robert and Joan Brunet, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Robert is survived by his wife Anne Brunet, his three children, Maureen (Robert) (Forchilli), Robert M. Brunet Jr., and Katelyn (Erik) (Brunet-Cotch), and his four grandchildren Derek, Molly, Owen (Forchilli) and Cullen (Brunet-Cotch). In addition, he is survived by his brothers William Joseph (Colleen) (Brunet), John David (Brunet), Scott Michael (Tammy) (Brunet), his Uncle Daniel Gregory, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The cherished and eldest son of Robert and Joan Brunet, he was born in Albany, New York on October 13, 1953. Robert was a devoted family man known for his quick wit, generosity, love for the New York Yankees and his ability to make everyone feel welcome at his many gatherings. Robert had a great passion for deep sea fishing and the exploration of beautiful beaches around the world. Robert enjoyed time with his beloved dogs, Yogi and Lulu and the late Jimmy, Mazie, George, Luke, and Buck.
Robert's family is forever grateful to his wonderful caregivers and nurses at St. Peter's Hospital, especially Samantha, Danielle, Tam, Katherine, and Jacqueline.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY.
