ALBANY – Robert C. Van Vorse. Sadly Bob passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2006 after a short but hard fought battle with lung cancer. He is survived by two sisters, Joan Michela and Judi Van Vorse, both of Colonie. Bob was predeceased by his beloved mother, Genny and father, Curtis, and also another sister, Marilyn Martin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church 609 Central Ave., Albany. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Anyone who wishes to remember Bob in a special way may make a contribution to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
