Robert C. Wall

GUILDERLAND – Robert C. Wall, 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at home surrounded by loved ones. Born in New York City, he was one of the ten children of the late Joseph J. and Eileen (McManus) Wall.

Bob was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps. He worked as a photographer for Consolidated Edison in New York City, and retired after 35 years of service. Bob was a member of the American Legion and Elks in Florida. He enjoyed billiards and ping pong, as well as watching NY Giants and Yankees games with his family and friends. Bob also liked coaching and watching his sons compete in sporting events.

Along with his parents, Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Gloria, earlier this year.

Bob is survived by his sons Dan Wall of Albany, Richard Wall of Albany and Jeffrey Wall of Wantagh, NY; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; five brothers; three sisters; many nieces and nephews and his beloved pet terrier, Maggie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 2:30 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 12:00 to 2:30 pm at the funeral home.
