Robert R. Carson

COLONIE-Robert Russell Carson, passed away surrounded by his family on September 17, 2018.

Bobby was an Army combat veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 10th Mountain Division. He loved playing with his daughters and spending time with his friends and family, especially at Great Sacandaga Lake. He was a whole-hearted Christian and an avid Giants fan. He loved playing Madden Football and watching UFC. He even trained to become a UFC fighter. He spent five years working as a Teamster and most recently worked installing flooring. Always irreverent, free spirited and the life of the party - this fun, wild, good hearted pain-in-the-a** will be sorely missed.


He was born on May 29, 1986 in Albany, New York and is survived by his wife of 10 years Kerry Led Duke Carson, daughters Isabelle Jane, and Mary June, his mother Charlotte Carson, father Russell (Ramona) Carson II, Father and Mother-in-Law Dennis and Gail Led Duke, his Paternal Grandmother Jane Carson, sisters Junie Hauffe, Erin (Leif) Engstrom, Kristina Carson, Maria (Rafael) Feliz, Candace Maye, Janelle and Julie Riccio, brothers Russell (Laura) Carson III, Jonathan Maye, and Gerald Sackey II and more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins than anyone can keep track of.


Bobby was predeceased by his grandparents June and Donald Hauffe and Robert Carson.
His daughter Izzy says - I love you daddy. Love you.


Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Friday(9/21/18), from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday(9/22/18), at 10:00am. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY.
