Troy- Robert E. Chapman, 66, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019. Robert was the son of the late James and Dicey Chapman. He is predeceased by his daughter April.
Robert enjoyed having a good time, spending time with family and loved playing the maracas. Robert worked for Macy's and Adirondack Steel.
Robert is survived by his sons, Robert and Cody Chapman (Krystle) and their children. He was the loving brother to, William Chapman, James Chapman (Sallie), Bettie Lewis (Charles), Carolyn Chapman, Mary Ann Chapman (Kenny), Dannie Chapman (Rosalind), Denise Tune (Joseph), Calvin Chapman, Christine Lewis (Andrew), Timothy Walton, and Patricia Chapman. Robert also leaves to remember him, Tootsie Folskey, who was a special friend to him and his aunt, Viola Wilkins and his cousins, Donnie Ward and Mark Scott both who looked up to Robert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 11am-12pm at United Ordained Church, 3370 6th Ave, Troy, New York 12180. A funeral ceremony will follow starting at 12pm with interment being held at Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
