Robert L. Coyle

Robert L. Coyle, 84, of the Capital District, NY passed away on February 19, 2025 at home. Born on November 28, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph W. Coyle and Anna Susko Coyle, and brother to the late Joseph Coyle and Anne Mary Geleta. 

Bob honorably served in the US Army National Guard, Signal Corps. 

Bob began his career as a life insurance agent. He earned Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College. He was a proud life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a status attained by only the top two percent of life insurance professionals worldwide. He was also a Registered Investment Advisor.

He is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Manhattan College, and Siena College. 

As a consummate professional, Bob developed patented personal economic systems "Integrated Cash Flow Management" and "Money Handling Skills Training" with the vision to "Teach a Nation to Save." 

As an active member of the Catholic Church, he served as a Eucharistic minister and a lector. 

Bob and his late wife Gail Ann Hayden Coyle are survived by their three daughters, Suzanne, Lauren and Erin Coyle Gross (Eric Gross) and grandson Charlie. 

Although Bob's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love, education and service to others in all that we do. 

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. 

Friends and family are invited to attend Visitation on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5:00pm - 6:30 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00am on Friday, February 28, 2025 in Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave., Menands, NY

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Bob's name to the American Cancer Society.
