Robert G. Cullum

Colonie- Robert G. Cullum Sr., 85, passed away on, Saturday, May 11, 2024. Born in Croydon, England he was the son of the late Robert F. and Doreen Cullum. Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Cullum.

Robert emigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1947 and then to Albany in 1951. He worked for William's Press as a proofreader until they closed in 1975. He formed a partnership in 1976 as Suburban Printers in East Schodack , New York. In September 1980 he formed PBR Graphics, INC in Colonie, New York with his wife Barbara. They were in business 40 years. He was an avid boater and life long member of the Castleton Boat Club where he served as Commodore. He was also member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and the US Power Squadron. He served in the US Army stationed in Germany. He was a long time active member of the Printing House Craftsman in Albany, NY.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Jr, Philip (Tina) and Brian (Annmarie). Robert is also survived by his five grandchildren and his brother Eric and many nieces and nephews.

Robert is predeceased by his two brothers, Douglas and Stuart.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 1pm-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will follow at 3pm at the funeral home.
