Robert Denault

WATERFORD - Robert Denault, 79, died on Sunday, June 12, 2005 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Born in Schenectady he was the son of the late Alexander and Florence Denault. Robert served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee during WWII. Upon his return he moved to Niskayuna and went on to work for the Town of Niskayuna for many years. In 1959 he married his beloved wife of 46 years the late Emily (Thoma) Denault. Together they relocated to Waterford where they both resided until their deaths. Robert was an avid collector of model trains and a member of AARP. In his later years, Robert enjoyed traveling, and spending time at the Saratoga Race Track with his wife and family. He is survived by several cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment at Graceland Cemetery in Albany.
