Robert E. Barnhart

VALLEY FALLS – Robert E. Barnhart, 49, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Born in Albany, he is the beloved son of Helen Barnhart Colvin and the late Robert H. Barnhart, Jr. He resided in Rensselaer County for most of his life. Bobby enjoyed fishing and watching movies at home. He was a great weather enthusiast.

In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his son, Austin and his sisters; Debbie Morton of Albany, NY, Cathy Mahoney of Queen Creek, AZ and Tammy Schriner of Brooklyn, NY. Also surviving are his close friends and caregivers, George and Danedra and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Robert E. Barnhart.
