ALBANY – Robert F. Zukowski, Sr., 78, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2007 with his loving wife Dorothy by his side.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jessie Zukowski.
Besides his wife, Dorothy, he is also survived by one son, Robert F. Zukowski, Jr.; stepchildren, Joseph Zukowski, David Zukowski, Rhoda Zukowski and Jenny Sweet; sisters, Katherine Rathbun (William) and Edna Wyatt (William) and also two estranged brothers. He was predeceased by brothers, Francis Leo and William Andrew; sisters, Margaret Perski, Rita Daniels and Jessie Church and one stepdaughter, Terry Cutler.
He retired for Peerless Paper as a truck driver and for Sid Harvey as a tractor trailer driver. His hobbies included building radio controlled boats and planes.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will precede the service from 5 to 7 p.m. To leave a special message for the family online, visit www.NewcomerFamily.com
