Robert E. Fairlee

Robert E. Fairlee passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 9,2022 at Glendale Home in Glenville, NY. Robert was predeceased by his wife Helen Streeter Fairlee and their son Glen (Karen) Fairlee. He is also predeceased by his parents LeRoy Fairlee and Lola G. Harris. Robert, "Bob", was born on February 29, 1933. He was an Army Veteran and fought in the Korean War.


Bob worked primarily as a security guard at Albany Medical Center, then at Veeder School in Colonie, NY. He loved hunting and fishing in Hague NY, Lake George region. He enjoyed sports especially the Boston Red Sox.


Bob was a devoted Christian, he attended Awaken Church in Niskayuna. Loving the Lord was an integral part of his life and he devoted time daily for prayer and guidance in his life.


Calling hours will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00am - 11:00am, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
