Robert Franklin

ALBANY – Robert J. Franklin, 58,of Albany, passed away at his residence on Thursday January 25, 2007 after a long illness. He was born in Princess Ann, Virginia and is the son of Olivia Brockett and the late Robert J. Franklin.
Robert served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He drove taxi in Albany for many years. He is survived by his wife Annmarie Britten Franklin and his two son, Robert and Duane Franklin. He is the proud grandfather of Lorin, Lasonya and Kenyon. He is the brother of Robin, Rhonda, Linda, Trina, Donna and Leonard. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 3 to 6 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave).
