Robert Earl Friss
December 29, 1937 — March 4, 2021
Robert Earl Friss ( Duffy) 83, formerly of Hudson & Colonie, NY, residing in Malta, NY passed away peacefully at Saratoga Hospital on March 4, 2021.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Earl Adam Friss & Mildred Reese Friss, His sisters, Connie Hines, Delores Friss Morlang, Elaine Friss Ferraro, & Barbara Friss Smith all of Hudson, NY.
Robert was married to Lorraine Schumann Friss for 62 years, she was originally from Brooklyn, NY. Surviving Mr. Friss are his children Mark Friss ( Carolyn) of Niskayuna, Scott Friss ( Debbie) of Avon, OH, Robert Friss Jr. of (Oakland, CA) & Thomas Friss ( Michele) of Malta, NY. Grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda) of OK, Michelina of (NC), Cameron, Connor, Braeden, & Paige all of OH, Thomas (Gabby) of Colonie, Kimberly of Niskayuna, Taylor Rosa of Scotia. Great grandchildren, Bryce, Bria, Bode. all of OK.
Robert was employed for 15 years as a laborer with the Local 190 and employed with Christian Brothers Academy with 29 years of service and retired in 2005.
Robert was also involved with the Colonie Little League for 21 years as an officer and manager. Many accomplishments include, Winning many league championship titles (Devito's), multilple State Championships had a team finish as a finalist in the Eastern Regionals (1980) & took a team to the Little League World Series in 1973
Robert was an avid Yankee Fan, never missing a game, he loved to watch Mariano Rivera & Tanaka. After he retired, He loved his garden, golfing, camping, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Robert will be greatly missed by EVERYONE!

A gathering of Roberts family and friends will begin at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Cook Park, Shambrook Parkway, Colonie, NY. A memorial dedication for Bob will follow immediately at 1:00 pm. All are invited to attend.
