Robert H. Hotaling

CLIFTON PARK – Robert H. Hotaling, 67, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born on August 16, 1946 in Albany and was the son of the late Henry W. and Mary E. (Hunter) Hotaling. He was the vice president for Equifax in Colonie for over 20 years, before retiring in 1998. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a longtime member of Shaker Ridge Country Club.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Lianne (Socola) Hotaling; his loving children, Robert Hotaling, Ryan (Lara) Hotaling, April Hotaling and Andrea (Michael) Hotaling-Lizzi; his cherished grandchildren, Hunter and Gavin Hotaling; his mother in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Jack Socola and many other family and friends. A special thank you to Kirsten Shannon for her care and compassion during Bob's illness.

Funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
