January 11, 1933 — October 13, 2022

Stephentown- Robert A. Harrington, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Robert was the son of the late Kenneth and Katherine Harrington.

After graduating from high school, Robert enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served until his honorable discharge. He went on to work for D&H Railroad until his retirement.

Robert enjoyed spending time with his entire family and going camping with them. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his free time fishing and boating.

Robert is survived by his children, Nancy L. (William "Bill") Zajesky, Michael C. Harrington, and Kimberly Webster; grandchildren, William "Will" (Myra) Zajesky, Robert "Rob" (Tara) Zajesky, Bryan (Krista) Zajesky, Michael (Anna) Harrington, and Breanna Harrington; great grandchildren, Charles, Will, Aidan, Bobby, Kenny, Abby, Mikayla, Logan, Ian, Hannah, and Cole; siblings, Donald (Sandra) Harrington and Dorothy (David) Denue; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Robert is predeceased by the mother of his children, Helen Harrington; his son, James Harrington; and his brother, William Harrington.

The family wishes to invite friends and family to a graveside service at 10am on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Elmwood Hill Cemetery, 51 Belle Ave, Troy, NY 12180.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert's name to Green Mountain Pugs Rescue, Phil & Judy Douglas, Attn: Green Mountain Pug Rescue, 283 Town Line Road, Mendon, VT 05701.
