Robert N. Horn, 68, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2022.
He was born in Albany to the late Jacob and Florence (Haagner) Horn.
He was actively involved in St. Michaels Episcopal church of Colonie, which was an important part of his youth. He shared many great memories with the late Pastor Dwyer and his late wife Fern. Robert retired after 30 years of service as a Tax Technician for NYS Dept of Tax and Finance. He was a member of the Arbor Hill bowling league for 30 years. He enjoyed vacations in Maine. Robert devoted himself to his grandchildren and their activities, including the newest love of his life great granddaughter Reagan.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his Aunt Esther and Uncle Dave.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Linda, sons Robert Horn Jr., Charles Horn, daughter Noelle (Rich), son Dan (Susan), grandchildren and great grandchild, as well as a brother and a sister, and his best friend of 50 years, Mark (Judy).
The family would like to the thank the Albany Medical Center D4E Oncology nurses for going above and beyond with their love and dedication.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 12:00 pm at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY 12205. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
