Robert J. Frechette

COLONIE – Robert J. Frechette, 58, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 4, 2012 at the Inn of Community Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Liverpool, England and is the beloved son of Frances Vinten Frechette and the late Robert J. Frechette. Bob was a longtime truck driver with Carbon Express, Inc. and recently received the Million Mile Safety Award. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend time with his loving family.
Bob is the beloved husband of Christine Fowler Frechette. He is the devoted and proud father of Nicole, Rachel, Bobby and Kate Frechette. Bob is the brother of David (Robin), Lillian Kirk, Michael, Paul, Pete (Tina), Patty Ann (Steven) Cervantes and the late Linda Frechette. He is the cherished grandfather of Lucas. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 10:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. At the request of the family , memorial contributions are suggested to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 or Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206 in memory of Robert J. Frechette.
