Robert J. Gould, Sr.

Latham – Robert J. Gould, Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 23, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, he is the son of the late Rufus and Sophie Gould.

Bob was a graduate of Siena College and was employed for more than 40 years at Albany Savings Bank before retiring as Vice President. He was a lifetime member of the Polish American Citizens Club where he served in various roles through the years such as: President, Financial Secretary and Membership Chairman.

Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Antoinette in May of 2014. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Richard Gould and Roger Gould.

Bob is survived by his children, Robert (Wendy) J. Gould Jr., Stacey (Paul) Kirwan, Ryan J. Gould and Lori (Chris) Lohre; his grandchildren, Broderick, Benjamin, Maxwell and Mackenzie. He is also survived by his brothers, Raymond (Catherine) Gould and Adam Gould.

Calling hours will be held for Bob on Wednesday August 27th from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. following the calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
