Robert Jones

COLONIE – Robert L. Jones, of Colonie, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2006. Born in Oxford, MS he was the son of the late Fred and Sarah Jones. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jones and his children, Randolph, Melvin, Linda and Gary Jones and Deborah (Lamar) Albrook. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Jerry, J.C., Ernest, Berda, Hilda and Pearl Jones and Maggie Harwell. He is the grandfather of Azarr Johnson. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday evening at 7:00 o'clock at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Depot Road, Guilderland.
