Robert Joseph Avery Sr.
October 22, 1923 — January 27, 2014
Passed away January 27, 2014 at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Bob was born October 22 1923 in Hoffmans, New York. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Jane Martin in October 1953.
He is survived by his children; daughter Roberta (Wayne) LaMont of Ripon, WI, eight sons Robert (Marilynn) of Altamont, John (Michelle) of Schenectady, Edward (Debbie) of Schenectady, Timothy ( Sallie Ann) of Glenville, Peter (Terri) of Rotterdam, Paul (Susan) of Schenectady, Keith (Toni Ann) of Rotterdam, and Michael (Vicki) of Guilderland, a brother Herbert of Glenville, 24 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Private Service, Monday 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
Spring Interment in Maple Shade Cemetery.
Bob was predeceased by his wife Jane in November 1994.
