Robert Adam Kolasienski
September 29, 1945 — July 25, 2022
Robert Adam Kolasienski, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Eddy in Troy.
He was the son of the late Adam and Agnes (Sterba) Kolasienski.
Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed photography, collected numerous Military memorabilia and antiques. He would attend many gun shows in New York State for many years.
Robert is survived by his siblings, Jim (Millie) Kolasienski and Linda Ashburn. He is also survived by one niece, Ruth (Pablo) Olivares, three nephews, Aemon, Shanon and Adam (Christina) Kolasienski, two grand nephews, Max Kolasienski, Josiah Olivares and one grand niece Cleo Olivares and his closest friend John Delvin.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 181 Troy Schenectady Road on Sunday July 31, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Burial will be private.
The family would like to thank the entire staff with the Eddy and the staff with the Community Hospice for all of their care and compassion given to Robert and his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 or to the Community Hospice Foundation 445 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205 in Robert's memory.
