Robert Edward Lanahan Jr.

Robert Edward Lanahan Jr., 57, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Robert was the son of the late Robert and Patricia (Cavitalo) Lanahan.
He graduated from Guilderland High School, excelling in Industrial Arts and Mathematics.
Robert was a huge sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball, football, horse racing. He enjoyed golfing, riding his bike. Enjoyed gardening in his yard. He was an avid coin collector and was a daily stock trader.
In addition to his parents Robert was predeceased by his sister, Jamie Lanahan.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Ken Vassallo) Lanahan, his sister Christina Lanahan, as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday October 9, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 4pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert's name to The Amazin' Mets Foundation, Citi Field, 41 Seaver Way
