Robert V. Landy

Robert V. Landy, 66, of Albany, passed away on March 19, 2025 at Stratton VA Hospital.

He was born on June 1, 1958 to the late Woodell Brace and Henrietta Hines in Albany, NY.

Robert, affectionately known as "Vunna" loved to cook and was a phenomenal chef. He enlisted in the army at a young age, and it was then that he grew fond of the Virginia Beach area. He enjoyed fishing and was known to keep a pole or two in all of his vehicles. Robert took pride in his appearance wearing only "the finest" as he would put it. He was also a self-proclaimed leader and was always ready to give advice even when it was unsolicited.

He is survived by his mother, Henrietta Hines, his sons Tyler and Joshua Landy, two grandsons, and a host of family members and friends.

A visitation will take place on Friday March 28th from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Burial will immediately follow in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
