LOUDONVILLE - Robert Leroy Kruzinski, Sr., 69, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born on September 25, 1942 in Albany and was the son of the late Theodore F. and Bernice (Aviza) Kruzinski. He worked as a carrier in the Transportation Department at the Times Union for over 30 years before retiring in 2000. He had also worked during that time for Crowley Dairy for 15 years. He enjoyed going with his wife Joan to casinos, slots, playing scratch-offs and numbers, crossword puzzles, golfing, bowling, and fishing. He was an avid fan of the NY Giants and the Boston Red Sox. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Joan E. (Bianchini) Kruzinski; his loving children, Robert L. Kruzinski, Jr. of Colonie, Dennis (Lisa) Kruzinski of Colonie, Lisa (John) Brunner of Colonie, Jeff (April) Kruzinski of Rotterdam and the late Albert "Al-B" Kruzinski; his cherished grandchildren, Ashleigh, Bobby III, and Alyssa Kruzinski, Denny, Leah, and Devan Kruzinski, Allison and Johnny Brunner, Marissa, Brittani, Jeffrey, Tiara, Jaclyn, and Brandon Kruzinski and his cherished great granddaughter, McKenna Coon; his brother, Theodore (Debbie) Kruzinski; his brother-in-law, Joseph (Trish) Bianchini; his sister-in-law, Judy Nicholson and his late brother-in-law, Charles Nicholson; and his best friends, Joe and Carol Bullis. Bob has known Joe and Carol since high school. He always referred to Joe as his "Best Buddy". Also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would also like to extend special thanks to Dr. Fogel, Dr. Cagino, St. Peter's Hospice and all of their wonderful staff for their care and compassion.
At the request of the family there will be no funeral services.
