Robert M. Rulison

GUILDERLAND- Robert M. Rulison, 88, of Guilderland, passed away Saturday February 14, 2009 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center after a brief illness.
He was born February 27, 1920 in Gloversville and was raised by his late aunt, Lura Kelly McDuff. Mr. Rulison was a veteran of the US Army during WWII, serving in the European Theatre. He resided in Westmere for many years and was retired from the NYS Department of Transportation in 1982 after 38 years of service. Bob enjoyed photography, woodworking and bowling.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Marjorie Havnen Rulison. He is the devoted father of Robert G. (Jo-Ann) Rulison of Reading, MA., James G. (Linda) Rulison of Glenville, NY and Shari (Ron) Keller of Guilderland. He is the cherished grandfather of Scott Keller (Dawn), Bonnie Keller-Biek, Jen Keller, Jon Keller, Mark Rulison, Eric Rulison, Steven Rulison (Lori Massa), Kelly Rulison and Kristopher J. Rulison. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
